Margarita Frančeska Loze
Margarita Frančeska Loze’s practice explores the interconnected relationships between humans, ecosystems, and cultural narratives through the lens of root systems.
Working across drawing, embroidery, and installation, she investigates themes of growth, memory, and interdependence. Her process often begins with the observation of local flora and extends into layered visual and material translations, where organic structures become metaphors for social and cultural connections.
Her work moves between the scientific and the poetic, combining careful research with intuitive making — creating spaces where natural systems and human experience intersect.
Margarita’s approach is grounded in observation, translation, and repetition.
By working slowly and attentively with materials, she allows forms to emerge through process rather than fixed intention. Her practice often evolves through accumulation, where small gestures build into complex visual systems.
Through this method, making becomes a way of thinking, and materials act as carriers of both personal and collective narratives.
