Round Table Market

On 25th of May 2025, for the exhibition opening, SUP has partnered with 1/2market to bring a market event directly outside of the Changhua Arts Hall. This brings together the most important aspect of the arts; the community, and ties together the ambition of the SUP project; artists, education, and community.

Typing deeply to the theme, the market will be held under a traditional red & white canopy, usually seen at Taiwanese outdoor round-table ceremonial events. The market will have local businesses from the Changhua area, showcasing the vibrancy of young and upcoming new businesses.

Originally conceived as a post-art festival party, 1/2market is an event designed to unite young local food and artistic businesses, showcasing a diverse range of offerings, including ceramic artisans, coffee makers, handcrafted accessories, and artisan pastries.

With sometimes limited market opportunities available in Changhua, 1/2market plays a crucial role in providing a platform for local artisans and entrepreneurs to connect with the community, creating a platform for them to share their work and engage with the public.
